Need to get myself a will, how much and where's best?

Any advice anyone? I think it's best to get it done professionally, but don't know where is best to get one.

    Thanks all

There is a thread on (dare I say it) MSE which outlines some of the options.......
    moneysavingexpert.com/fam…lls

and there a plenty of threads about wills on there...

Contact local charities, a lot of them have a 'make a will month' where local solicitors will do a basic will with you and you just make a donation to the charity (amount is up to you)

We did this last year (april) for our local hospice and quick search on google shows other hospices doing the same, but different months

Better that the charity gets your money rather than the solicitor and you get a professional will for whatever donation you want to make

WH smiths have some Will packs and other things like tenancy agreement things

about 10 quid i think they are

we had a company called affinity wills come out and go through everything with us as there is loads of legislation and stuff you need to be aware of and we didn't have a clue. A will for the pair of us including them keeping it at the solicitors office til we die cost £125

Anyone who purchases and completes one of these packs is an idiot.
