Need to send a computer monitor...

Hi there,

I recently purchased a Dell 24" screen that was posted on here. I had to get it shipped to my home address, but I am current at university.

I need to therefore get it shipped up to me at university. Can anyone give me any tips on who to use to do this? I see that a few companies don't offer compensation on damaged screens. Would it still be safe to use?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

royal mail special delivery?

Get quotes from a "man & van" and ask if has insurance

Special Delivery isn't a bad idea. That would cost £20.70. Any idea if they have maximum size/dimension limits?

Other option is DHL which is £13 but without insurance it seems. That is booking through Fast Lane International. Anyone ever used them?

I've always used these (inc for shipping monitors): ]http//ww…tml

Looks good. May well use their deal for 24hr Parcelforce service for £15.99,
