Ive installed but still have the > ! next to network controller...Not sure whats wrong

restart computer and press wireless button on keyboard, if correct driver installed on computer will try to find wireless network
make sure network adapter is enabled( go to my computer properties>device manager )
if still not working, connect Ethernet cable between modem and computer and update driver from device manager or download all the network driver available and installed it.

Dell Latitude E6420 and E6520 Series
These laptops have a small switch on the RIGHT side of the keyboard. The switch is toward the front of the laptop. The Wi-Fi Catcher™ icon will is above the keyboard. You will see a lit radio tower if the wireless switch is enabled.

Yeah already tried he switch ..device manager is still showing as network controller missing..not sure what to do now

If you right click the troublesome device in device manager, click properties, click details and copy the hardware ID into here I will try to find you the correct driver

I'd find out what the adaptor is. Go to it in device manager select properties then advanced then hardware id. Put the vendor and device id (something like 8089 or 108e) into pcidatabase.com and it will tell you what the device is. Then just get the driver from the vendors website unless it turns out to be atheros got to atheros.cz if it's realtek go to realtek.cz

It's shows no details as no driver is installed..I remember having this trouble before but just can't remember the file I downloaded to solve it..I'm sure it wasn't from the Dell website itself

Downloaded the complete can folder file pack which installed all the drivers that I couldn't find before. Thanks for the help
