NES Mini Power Adapter

Hey, I saw in Poundland today they had Power adapter blocks with a USB port on them (I've posted as a deal!).

They're 5V, 1.2A - and the NES mini requires a USB AC adapter (output: 5V/1.0A/5W)#

I'm guessing as the adapter block is 1.2V, this is ok? I did read that if the adapter is more high powered, you run the risk of shortening whatever it is you're powering.

Is it wise to use something so cheap with a console?

I'd go for a 2amp one to be honest.

Don't buy power blocks, cables or chargers from pound shops
