Nescafe Gold Blend instant coffee - Cheaper alternatives?

I bought a Morrisons Gold blend instant coffee as a cheaper alternative and it is awful, they're obviously marketing it as a similar type of coffee, but must use mud instead of beans.
Anyway, has someone found an actual similar tasting alternative from one of the supermarkets?
