until we are out, it will keep rising.

And it won't be slowing down anytime soon.

And it won't be slowing down anytime soon.

Why would it slow down as it is an agreed citizen right for mutual benefit?! Likewise, we have freedom of movement within the United Kingdom and freedom of movement has been around for hundreds of years, including those taking up seats in House of Commons and Lords. E.g. anyone in UK can buy a cottage in Cornwall to retire and the only difference since joining the EU is the whole area of rights for citizens is much bigger as it stretches all the way from Greece to Southern Ireland along the southern EU border. Obviously a cottage could worth more/less in the international market compared to just the market in England.
    .
Just saying by analogy of principles without taking the brexit whys and wherefores.

By the way, a facet not many mention, for these countries which have a net positive flow to UK, France , Germany, these same countries have a net positive flow of immigrants from outside of the EU as they do the jobs left behind in these countries.

I did think that was possible but I'm not so sure anymore.

What you'll see is the government bend over backwards to keep the best people and the best companies in this country. They'll reduce corporation tax, they'll reduce taxes on the highest earners, they'll reduce regulations and ultimately the burden for all of these freebies will fall on the most vulnerable in society, those who were more likely to vote for Brexit in the first place.

It wasn't turkeys voting for Christmas.

It was a chorus of turkeys singing 'I wish it could be Christmas, Everydaaaaaaaaay!!!'

Not to throw any salt on any wounds, but to be honest the only trouble I've been unlucky enough to witness came from the British .

I've been told "I'm not local enough" when applying for jobs in the same town I live, again from British, and also told to "go back where I came from" which again was from the British.

Considering I'm American, I would hate to be Eastern European as I'm sure they will get it worse than me.

I don't even dare speak when I'm out of the house anymore. It's a good thing my English wife likes to talk!

Oh just to confirm, I've worked over here for almost 15 years without using anything but the NHS. I'm sure there are a lot of foreigners who do the same.

Maybe the issue is more about how easy it is to get benefits in Britain, rather than who is claiming them?

Make it harder to get, change the criteria, then less people will find it attractive to live over here. Also those who do already live here will realise they need to work to get anything. Again regardless of where they come from.

British benefits system was designed to help British citizens to cope with when things go wrong. However because of EU principle of equal rights, people from East Europe come over with the aim of claiming benefits which is the issue over here.

Nutjobs? How about businesses which benefit from extra labour resources take on responsibilities to provide for welfare benefits and build houses for them? Comprehend? Fairly simple really, 335,000 extra pair of hands to assist UK, then people benefitting from these extra hands contribute the land and bricks to build 335,000 houses to house them. as they all need a roof over their heads, not rocket science, is it?!

I am not responsible in providing answers to the universe and boil the ocean. If a "bloke" allows 335,000 in, which is pre-agreed freedom of movement of labour, which is known to be a major benefit to business activity, then he needs at least to have a basic solution to house, feed and clothe them, right?! Then comes the green belt , which is a post implementation solution after money is made from the 335,000 extra workforce, with the beauty of EU this means there is freedom of movement of the green belt too, it means our green belt could be extended to as far away as Poland and Czech Rep, Bulgaria...these place could become the giant green belt as a lot of people would have moved away to work in other countries.

    Why?
    .
In elementary boy toy, such as a water pistol, a boy can only hit a target if he is in control of the water pistol. If the boy is NOT in control of this water pistol, how can the water pistol hit the target by itself?! So it is by analogy, in EU, in the freedom of movement of people, freedom is freedom, you would be stupid to put a target on freedom. Even more stupid to hold some stupid guy who had said this.

Second answer, the beauty of EU is (or was), three freedoms: people, money and goods, all unlimited, so if you lived in a £500,000 flat/house, then you can retire in another much cheaper EU country, say buy £200,000 flat, then you have £300,000 cash to spend, and you can draw on the national health system, get a job there, claims benefits, send your state pension over there, blah blah...you should be living in heavens (not cloud cuckoo land).

I mean Martin Lewis could have at least started a web site on CLAIMYOURBENEFITS in all EU countries for the Brits to use, and BRITSGETYOURRIGHTSEXPERTINEU is another web site someone could have designed. Moreover the British Council could have expanded to run language courses for Brits to get jobs abroad. Just a simple example, Pimlico plumbers could have teamed up with Oxbridge U and could have trained up 100,000 "Rolls Royce" plumbers to do the plumbing left behind in those countries lacking of tradesmen and women. A lot of noise is made about people coming to claim benefits but on the other hand, lots of migrants do so much economic activities here that they are remitting £100,000+ per week abroad and employ a lot of people here! Not much noise is made of Britons making lots of money in other EU countries and remitting money back here regularly in the UK.

Funny why you wrote this, I placed a Tesco order for another 6 bottles, nice discounted wine, then another 25% off for six bottles or more, plus I got sent vouchers by Tesco too as I had spent virtually nothing at Tesco! You need to drink a bit to get blood to flush out that dogma and political PR out of your head in order to see common sense.
