EXPIRED

Netbook!

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a netbook early in Jan, ready for a trip to USA to take with us to use along the way.

It must have SD card readers, and be a decent processor.

I like the HP onenote, but notice the processor is awful.

It must also have a 9inch screen if possible.

Battery life would be good too and I know HP is very good with this.

any suggestions?

Rich

i've bought the advent(msi wind) and found it to be good, but i have =recentley sold it and bought samsung nc10, it is brilliant decent hard drive, good processor long battery life and screen is soooooooooooooo bright, also sd card reader built in, brilliant don't bother with anything else

Get a ASUS Netbook , 901, 904, 1000, dont get any others they are rubbish. Try to get a model with SDD Drive, its best to buy linux model and then upgrade it to xp, as the linux model is high spec but the same price and normally the xp driver CD is included in the price. Ebuyer and Play have great deals on this. Try to also get a ATOM processor rather celeron. ps its excellent game machine, because there several mods have made several geforce/ati games run on these with ease

I had been looking for ages on the net reading the reviews for these little notebooks not knowing model what to buy , but finally bought the Asus Eeepc 1000h from comet . Excellent model ,XP, 160g HDD ,wi-fi b/g/n, BT , 1.3mp webcam etc ,etc. I decided it had to be XP .........................people seem to have to many problems with vista and I cannot run my favourite programs on Linux , so ,it really makes sense to stick with something you feel comfortable and not have any problems with . I have tons of external hard drives , especially like my new IPOD disk drives [1.8"zif's] so ,theres no problems with installing anything and I also have a slim USB DVD writer/reader for installing from disk .Thumb's up for the Asus .

Guys that Samsung looks amazing! Amazing spec against anything else I have seen!

Can anyone point me in the direction of it under £300? I can't find it anywhere for that price! Unless it doesn't include VAT!
