Price increase to TL77.99 (£4.10) up from TL54.99 (£3.15)

- Sign up for a new Netflix UK account (or cancel existing subscription and wait for it to cancel at end of current billing cycle)
- If you cancel an existing subscription, make sure your card is valid
- If you are using a new subscription you will need to verify details and add UK card for charging.
- You will need to pay at least one month on the UK subscription then cancel (unless you cancel existing
- Once the subscription has been cancelled at the end of the billing period, install Hola VPN extension (I'm using Edge)
- Connect to Turkey VPN
- Sign into Netflix netflix.com/tr-en
- It will ask you if you want to restart your subscription
- Restart and select subscription you would like.
- I went for Premium @ TL54.99 pm (£3.01 at todays exchange) - went off my card for £3.14 (incl fees)
Purchased Turkish Netflix gift card from G2A. Sign up to UK netflix. When asked to pick a plan, signed out. Loaded vpn and connected to Turkey. Went to the following url netflix.com/tr-en and logged in. Chose plan and paid using gift card. Skip adding backup card and don't enter phone number. That's it. I decided to add a payment card, monzo. Log into uk netflix. Added card as normal. I have not got a phone number on my account.

I think you will need a Turkish mobile to verify a new Turkish account. Easier to create new UK account and change after first payment has gone through
So I was resigned to having to pay for a month on uk, then cancel and re-add when verified. However, i'd add a slight change to your guide. What I did was once the uk payment had verified, using my phone number, on the next screen I activated the vpn and refreshed the page. The cost changed to the Turkey price. I clicked 'start membership' and it went through fine so I didn't have to pay for a month on uk before switching to turkey.

Just 1 point. If you're able too when doing the first month UK version. Verify your mobile, my turkey one asks me if I ever login online (never verified the uk one).but I could be wrong.?
I've been using Netflix Turkey gift cards on my Turkish account because it's the only way I can make payment.
I remember someone mentioned, talk to on line chat about payment issue and they send you link to make payment.
I might be wrong but worth a try?
Works fine with my revolut account. The trick is to change to revolut while still a UK subscriber. Cancel and then after your 30 days runs out rejoin Turkey region and your existing revolut payment method will be accepted.

Turkey one has not asked me to verify. UK has been running a while. Cancelled last week. Sub ran out yesterday. Tried the Turkey way and worked a treat without having to change contact details or card used to pay

I tried all sorts when I went to switch to Turkey from Argentina and had no luck.
I paid a month with a gift card and then switched payment over to card and it went through with no issues.
I wish it was easy. I followed that massive PH thread, spent money on a $10 vpn and finally beat it. It took alot of time and effort and if I didn't add the 'paid accounts' to it at the same time it got alot worse and took alot of time. Currently I've got a PH family account with the main slot always pointing me to PH songs/recommentions (don't use it). I added my own UK one. The wife's UK based one. And a family members. I've got other slots left but my god its a right hassle sorting It that I can't be bothered anymore.
Nope. No VPN required to watch. You will get all UK content

Yup, i had a new card issued and couldnt update it. Spoke to their cs and they provided a link that allowed me to update the card.

Aye believe me it is. I think they've changed their policies now so its alot harder. Also when I was doing it. I felt I kinda wanted to beat the system and get it working. That was a driver not just the family profile for £3 ish a month
If oyu could point me to the "guide" you followed, that would be great
They refuse to do this now and instead send you back to your account.

so once first payment is gone shall I cancel the subscription on UK account? And sign in Turkish Netflix using vpn? Will they accept UK cards either Halifax or nationwide
That's what I did for mine. I have my Barclays Debit card linked. Can't confirm Halifax or Nationwide but can't see why it wouldn't work

When it comes to the card expiring, there’s info from previous threads/comments that you connect to VPN, add the card details on Netflix and disconnect the VPN before you confirm the new card. Apparently it works but my card is a long time from expiring.
I've bought a gift card from SEAGM and it doesn't seem to be working - I can't tell if its dodgy or the VPN - what VPN are you using - I've got Sufshark.

You should be able to cancel now. As long as you have a valid card on the account it will work
