Saw this posted ages ago and just spend the last month seeing if it still works. Appears to work a charm:

Opened UK account, added payment method / phone etc.
Paid first month £13.99, but cancelled immediately.
It lapsed yesterday (23rd) and using Hola VPN (didn’t work through Nord) signed up again for TL41.99, taken from my Revolut at £4.16

    Can use Revolut / Starling. Or go down the gift card route.

    Yes I did. Go to menu then to account, you’ll then see “manage payment info” where you can update the card details without any issue

    It’s fee free, but it’s a credit card so you’re meant to spend then pay off; I guess you could prepay off but not sure how they’d like that.
