Hello has anyone tried doing this recently and does it still work. My card has expired and it’s asking for a new card. Then once that’s in - it’s asking for a Turkish mobile number. I’ve looked online for the feee sms receiver things and tried lots to no avail (Netflix won’t accept).
Any ideas or have they finally clocked on?

I can’t quite believe this and I am amazed it hasn’t been discussed here or via the other thread yet. As my tv was already setup and connected to Netflix - I just booted up Netflix on the tv. - I tried logging on and it said error with payment. Asked me to edit the payment details ON MY TV so I just put in a new Revolut card and bingo. Payment taken as Turkish lira (£3.93 for 5screen full 4K) and rocking again.

Just added a new card to my account as a back up, asked for Turkish phone number went on chat and within minutes they sent a link and update the account. Told them I didn’t have a phone and no questions asked. Now set will 2027.
Go on live chat and tell them you're having problems. They should send you a secure link to add your card. Worked fine for me and my Revolut virtual card.
I've got a couple weeks left my card expires end of this month and payment is up until mid June. Tried the Roku and playstation apps and neither give options to update payment.

No it's still running as a Turkish account at the moment. It was originally 5+ years ago a UK account. That was cancelled and reactivated some time later as a Turkish account (via VPN). The card I pay with is due to expire, hence my issue.

I just bought 100TL for £6.22 from G2A using revolut card.
Tried to set this up for my brother just now, wouldn't work with his existing Revolut card so had to go the gift card route. Will see if I can update card method next month if it does not auto continue.
Maybe try again think it ps mentioned on this thread but definitely mentioned on others.

The other option was to log in without a vpn update your card and it automatically charges it in TRY.
I've tried with both curve and revolt, with and without VPN asks for a phone number both times. I'll ditch it all together and watch the content via iptv sub rather than pay UK prices.
Did you create your account in the UK and verify your phone number normally without a VPN ?
Was that with VPN off?
It won't matter, nobody ever reads any of them when you see the same questions being asked over and over again on all of the threads.
What do you mean "I changed to Turkey" ?. Did you cancel the account and then try to resubscribe using a VPN ?
does your account not have the phone number if so that could be your issue, you would then have to add it, verify it and start a UK subscription and cancel, once cancelled you can log in through Turkey. The solution the op found seems similar to he one I mentioned but guessing it’s a fully verified account within phone number. If you have one try asking for a secure link in chat.

The customer service method is a workaround but also try another vpn worked for me (Speedfy). Also, when it works, better add an alternative card so you can use netflix while not rushing sorting things out. My 2 cents (or pence or liras ;)) (edited)
Do you have the option to add a backup payment method ?
Mine was a Panasonic tv using the Amazon fire stick.
No vpn was required as the tv was connected to my home broadband.
I tried but they did not give a link, and kept saying I need to verify ac via phone sms. Did try twice and same issue. So looks hit n miss depending who's the agent. Anyone else had a luck? Or just sheer bad luck! (edited)
Somehow I just managed, and think it's agent dependent. Some will ask you where you are located, where your ac is etc etc. and tell you you must use sms verification.. But this evening the lady just gave me a secure link in the chat itself to verify the existing payment method and then update the card .. and bingo! This was my 3rd/4th try!
