Netflix VPN Workaround?

Posted 29th Oct
My Netflix sub finally expired after forgetting so many times but I'm unable to use the foreign currency method to resubscribe - I simply get as far as the phone number check but I don't have a number to do this.

Anyone know a way round?

Buy a Turkish SIM card when you next go there
Just get a Plex

I already have a Plex server in my house.

So isn't all content you need on Plex
I used my normal mobile number and it worked fine for a Turkish sub...

Plex is your own personal video library you have at home... nothing like Netflix at all

/facepalm Not at all considering they're all my movies I own. Plex servers which stream pirated content don't count.

As well accessing your own media, people also sell access to THEIR media... that when PLex becomes more like Netflix

No Turkish numbers

Op does not specify "Turkish", it just specifies "the foreign currency method"

He's right though, Turkish is the most common to use.

Doesn't Netflix offer all resolutions? Plex can, including 4k, not bothered about Atmos
I don't see your point

I'm finding the VPN method a little inconsistent with my Monzo card - it tells me there's an error which I'm assuming is Netflix kicking in with its blocking mechanism.

Sometimes I get through, sometimes I don't. I'll keep trying.

That sucks - I’m paying via my normal account - approx 40p max transaction fee which I’m happy with.
