Are there any other networks besides 3 that lets you access the GPRS services for free.

With 3 you can access news, sport and many other features for free both on contract and PAYG.
You do, however, have to pay for certain contents which is clearly marked and the price but not for just surfing.

Thanks

I've not been charged for gprs usage in the last 2 years - O2 contract... but I think I'm just lucky

02 have just recently started charging, however they do give you 100kb a month on 02 200 minutes which does not last long. The allowance may be more on higher tariffs.

I am paying 5 quid/month for unlimited GPRS access on T-Mobile. Typically, it results in a couple of gigabytes/month.
It is called web-n-walk.

I was stung recently by o2 as I'd had free GPRS for 18 months - managed to get my money back though but now have to pay for future usage so I'm looking to change too. Will have a look at t-mobile as posted by Kommunist.

If i remember correctly both O2 and Orange give you a allowance of 1mb a month on their Pay as you go. Think you have to top up minimum of £10 a month.

O2 started to charge me I used gprs a lot this month and now I have to pay £5
