New monitor displaying blurred thumbnails on webpages in windows 7

ive just purchased the 24" samsung p2450 from on here which is a cracking monitor, but thumbnail pictures on webpages appear blurry on pages like facebook and ebay

its running on vga with onboard graphics but im sure this shouldnt be causing thumbnails to looked blurry
any options in windows 7 to solve this?
ive set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 with 150% zoom

take zoom off!

Your problem's in the 150% zoom. Elarging things like that doesn't give you any new pixels of detail, it just stretches the ones that are already there, giving you blurriness.

I trust you are using a decent browser too (e.g Firefox rather than IE).
