Ebay often have listings for wholesale & job lots, you can narrow your search to local listings and usually collect them in person. Can't help with the other questions as that depends on your local area and you will probably be getting soem idea from the carboot sales you have done so far.

    Good luck with it!

What I have have seen at car boots in my area, clothes (especially labeled stuff and baby/toddler), furniture doesn't, toys depends, videos doesn't, DVD's sometimes, little collectables (china, glassware) does, games don't, TV's consoles (becuase of the price) don't.

    Hiya,

You should look in your local paper for auctions in your area. My Mum has an antiques shop so I used to go with her to auctions and there were always car booters there buying box lots of stuff for a couple of pound to sell on again. You often get a box lot for a few quid and obviously there will be some rubbish in there but often there are some good bits.

If you were really serious look at the paper for house clearances. Sometime antique dealers get a house clearance when someone has died and has no family and they take what they want then they get someone else in to take the rest of the stuff or a couple of local second hand dealers to split the rest. You could always find out if you could give them some money for a few bits.

There is a fair bit of money in car booting. Before I went to Uni I wanted to make a bit of cash for going away so I went to the auctions and got box lots then did a car boot every sunday for the next 2 months. I went away to Uni with a brilliant sum of cash all for just a few hours work.

Kids toys always sell well (toy garages and dolls houses), DVD's, kids clothes or shoes, I always found the kids stuff was the best.

from my exsperience with sort of thing on ebay-things are either too tacky to sell and make a good profit or just to exspesenve to make any profit-but there is sometimes some things worth buying -could have a look at your local dump for things that are sellable
