New TV help

Hi,
I'm looking to replace my LG OLEDB7V 55". Having experienced screen burn for a 2nd time I've decided OLED isn't worth the hassle even if it is undeniably the best picture quality you can buy.

Having done some research I've currently set my sights on a Samsung QLED Q90T.
My question is can I get better for the current Q90 price of £1200?
I don't want the soundbar that is part of a promotion unless I'm likely to sell it on for profit (I did this when buying my OLED but I have no idea if it holds resale value now).

Am I likely to find a decent boxing day price drop by waiting?
Any expert advice welcomed.
Thank you.
