Evening peeps, my Panasonic is dying slowly and I'm in need of a new 55" tv below £600 price tag...mainly to watch netflix and gaming. I would appreciate any suggestions please. TIA

Can't you get your old tv fixed ?
Look at Hisense TVs. I believe John Lewis and Richer Sounds sell them with extended warranties.
@kester76 £100+ for parts and work. don't really fancy spending that much on a 4 years old tv.

Is philips any good, I've noticed a 55' for £649 in argos

At 4 years old I would expect it still to be under warranty, have you double to checked ?
@kester76 It was covered by 12 months warranty I'm afraid.

Ouch, I know John Lewis used to price match and offer 5 year warranty on TVs. Worth checking them out to see if they still do it.
@kester76 I'm actually looking at a bit more expensive tv from JL, due to 5 year warranty.
