Found 19th Mar 2010
The wife opened an account 2 months ago with them but to date hasnt used the account.

Today, after receiveing the catalogue, got our FIRST bill for £3.75 for the catalogue to be paid in 2 weeks. The cheek, must have sneaked that one into a checkbox in the create account page.

Do I have much chance of getting the charge removed?

They did this to me also. I emailed explaining I didn't order it and they apologised told me I didn't have to pay. They let me keep the cataloge too.

Think you are charged this if you order from it. If you don't they do not charge you.

E-mail this to Bitterwallet:

They'll run a feature on it, and hopefully help get your refund

It's all part of the terms and conditions when you sign up for an account (cheeky i know). You can phone up and cancel the catalouge and still keep your account. And bizarrely, if you order, you are reimbursed the £3.50 on your account.
Thats how it worked about a year ago anyway.

They did this to me and the girlfriend we entered a comp and asked not to be contacted 3 months later we get a your account is active plus you owe us for your catalogue letter rang em up and told em where to stick it not had a prob since and no charge for the catalogue
