Posted 26th Feb 2021
NHS prescription charges in England increase by 20p to £9.35 on 1 April.

Buy a prepayment certificate to save potentially hundreds of pounds:

A 3 month prepayment certificate will increase in cost from £29.65 to £30.25.

A 12 month prepayment certificate will increase in cost from £105.90 to £108.

If you have four prescriptions in three months a prepayment certificate will save you £6.95 (£7.15 after the increase).

If you have thirteen prescriptions in a year, a 12 month prepayment certificate will save you £13.05 (£13.55 after the increase). Any more than 13 = more savings.
