Nintendo DS games

Hi,
all of the decent DS games that I have seen in the shops and on the net are still really pricey. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend any good games at a good price?

Thanks very much, any help is appreciated

Depends if its for a boy or girl really. Just got Animal crossing from gamedash.co.uk and little lad loves it. Probably recommend any of the nintendogs for a girl or bargain basement price zoo keeper or 42 all time classics. If you want to go cheaper than that then you'll have to get gba games and just use the one screen.

The best deals I have found on DS Games are from Movietyme if you do not mind US Versions of Games. There are no region restrictions on DS Games so it is not a problem. Postage is free and I have never been charged import duty.

The only slightly negative comment is when you place the order you do not know if they have stock. They are not good at communicating when they are out of stock.

My son who is 8 loves the Mario games particularly Mario Kart. Mario games are between £18 and £20 from Movietyme.

go for ROBOTS if you can get it at the right price

For a little one can definitely reccomend Super monkey ball touch and roll - less than a tenner most places too - Virgin have it £9.99 and 10% off if your a student or have the virgin credit card.
Bargain.

Amazon.co.uk will have some games for the DS at £15 or less, but you may have to get it from an independent seller. Used& New sellers usually run between £10 and £15 for lots of things - the ones that are still pricey that way are semi-popular out of production games, like Lost in Blue or are rather recent.

If New & Used isn't your thing, then currently available new from Amazon directly, rated highly, and on sale:

Well, that's a start anyway

i use the xtreme cartridge personally so you can play downloaded versions... for test purposes of course... but if i had to reccomend a cheap game it would be dr kawashimas brain training! it really is a lot of fun!

It depends on what type of games you're into, as a kid will be interested in different types of games to an adult and some people might prefere racing, strategy, platform, shooting etc but some good examples include yoshis island (platform), mario kart (racing), brain training (errm..... thinking game ) advance wars (strategy) and many more.

Checkout www.gamespot.com for the best games on any console/handheld but bare in mind that the older games will have a higher rating than they deserved due to having lower standards at the time.

Also www.CD-WoW.com sell most new games for the DS around £20 and check the vouchers section for links for £2 discounts.
Also checkout websites such as www.choicesuk.com for good prices for the little older games, which has an 10% discount in the vouchers section and if you go through Quidco, you'll receive an extra 5% discount.

Hope that helps.
