I haven't completely grasped the concept of Quidco, could someone please clear it up for me?

    its explained on quidco.com
You sign up, link through quidco when purchasing goods from various online retailers, and then quidco receive a percentage commision which they pass on to you.

This one I found for £72.22, free delivery too.

    Hope that helped

thats a import one from america steph and you dont get a uk plug you have to buy a 3 pin plug converter.

ordered a ds lite from dvdstar 2 mouths ago still not arrived. they didn't answer any of my emails I would avoid. lucky I ordered on my Barclay card and they refunded me.
There are deals through uk retailers after pay import duty and a adapter you not saving allot.
plus when I first placed the order it was £72 when I got my statement I paid £79.
    hope this helps

The 3pin plug converter isn't really the problem, but getting hit by the import tax would be. Shame really!

    Oh ok ..Sorry

Apparently the games are in another format than the UK formats. I've just bought one £94 from Tescos...didn't think to come on here to look...mind you that's why I bought it for the Brain training software...my memory isn't what it used to be lol

Nah, the DS and the DS Lite are region free, so you can play any game from any country in the world on it - with the exception of Chinese games, as these can only be played on the Chinese iQue DS, whose larger firmware chip contains the required Chinese character glyph images.

However, you do run the risk of not being able to play multiplayer if the game requires both players to have the cartridge and they're from differing regions (not all games do require this, some only require one player to have the game).

You can also run into problems where you try and play online and the game restricts you to only playing people in your geographic region, as some games implement this region restricting by only looking for games running the same version as the game, e.g. Japanese releases only looking for other users of the Japanese version.

Additionally, most (probably all) places won't trade none 'pal' games in!

I've just been into Choices in Speke, Liverpool and they have a bundle of DS Lite (any colour), with 3 games including Brain Train, Mario Basketball and Meet The Robinsons (I think) for £119. Not bad considering the console is going for £99 in most places.

nice find, gonna go down local Choices in Waterloo to see if they have the offer on, no mention on the website!

Yeah, I double checked on the website but there was nothing there. It's definitely on in the Speke one so if not in Waterloo you can drive to Speke in 30 mins. (that's if we're thinking of the same Waterloo!)
