Nintendo Switch eShop regional price comparison with possible savings

Props to Calyhre on reddit/r/nintendoswitch for compiling this.

Basically it is a list of all games for the Nintendo Switch from all the regional eShops (exc Asia). It displays the various prices that other counties sell the games at and some reasonable savings could be made.

I managed to buy Snipperclips for £14.01 whilst it costs £16.99 from the UK eShop. Using my credit card which has no currency conversion charges, I've saved almost £3 (almost 20% off).

Some examples on more possible savings at this moment of posting:

1-2 Switch
UK £39.99
South Africa £33.47

I am Setsuna
UK - £29.99
Canada £22.70

Legend of Zelda
UK hardcopy £47.99 (Amazon)
UK eshop £59.99
South Africa £44.07

Just Dance 2017
UK hardcopy £42.00 (Amazon)
UK eshop £49.99
Canada £34.05

Puyo Puyo Tetris
UK hardcopy £34.99 (Amazon)
UK eshop £34.99
Canada £22.70

To change your region, you will be required to log into your Nintendo account on a web browser. Once changed, your eShop on the switch will show the currency accordingly.

Correct, if you try and change regions on the console you either have to spend all that credit or lose it on the current region, so UK.

It's much better to create a seperate account for the region of the eShop you want to access. You can then either purchase credit for that region or try using a credit/debit card. You then don't have to use or lose credit on your UK account

Yeah I have separate accounts for Japan, USA, and UK so I can get all the demos etc. But I had money from selling some games so used that on credit. Nevermind ill just use uk store until it's used up
Thank you .. much appreciated:)

I heard Revolut works so I thought I'd try but it's asking me to prove my identity with passport/driving licence/identity card
*Well I got past all that by topping up twice from my visa debit, alas the Revolut virtual card didn't work either. Oh well

Most debit/credit cards have a 'foreign transaction fee'. A small percentage usually 2-3%, and some have a flat amount on top, like £1 or £1.50.
So if you can pay via a fee-free method you don't get that

No worries. Yes that's it. If you have a NNID linked to your Nintendo Account you need to unlink it, but can be relinked again.
Thanks. Gonna try golf story
