No Man's Sky. Version 1.1 - Oh my...

Found 27th Nov 2016
Hello Games have just released a video of Version 1.1 of No Man's Sky. Despite all the negativity it's been getting since release, they've seemed o have turned it around, in a big way.

Not going to lie, I'd be nipping down to my local Cex and nabbing a copy for £15.

Yeah, it does look like some impressive work over the past few months! I still have my copy, so will be giving it another shot shortly.

Thanks for posting that summary earlier

Kept my copy I managed to get for £12 a few month ago, played it once... the reason I kept hold is mainly because cex & co offer silly money for trade/cash.

Glad I did now as this update looks promising, the latest expansion for the division has brought that game back to life and hopefully this is similar.

Another No Man's sky thread? What was wrong with the others?

Yep just had a little look after the patch and its a vast improvement from releases so with any luck with more patches like this it might turn out to be the game we were promised .

Glad I bought it in cex for 12 pound last week now lol

Great pre-rendered footage... it definitely looks like a huge improvement, though they don't show or talk much of a goal or purpose to having a home base or a freighter, Besides stockpiling for trading in other systems.

Finally it looks great

Didn't it look great from all the preview videos before it was released?
A game where the ultimate goal is to move from planet to planet, system to system to reach the centre of the universe and they've made it so you can build a static base....

Judging by the negs on that video gamers still aren't happy.

If you're talking about the 'masses', they almost never are

But that lesson really ought be be followed more widely, regardless of this game's performance!

They couldn't pay me to play this drivel.

Have you read the update notes or watched the video?

Use Terminus Teleporters in Space Stations to teleport to and from your base at will

Find an even more beautiful location and you can simply dismantle your previous homestead to refund all of the spent resources

It's nice that they have done some work on trade. Hopefully they will continue on with regular updates

Why does everyone live base building so much? I can't stand it! A pointless addition to fallout 4 too

Too little too late.
I'm sure people who still have the game are happy with this, but most (rightfully) refunded their purchase and those that waited, and didn't get swept up in the hype, won't be swayed by this. Perhaps when the final version is released and it's sub £5.

great so now we get a pointless, boring corridor construction simulator thrown in too.

I wish them luck turning things around.
