No Rush Amazon Pantry Credit - a bit rubbish?

Anyone else think the 'No Rush' deal at amazon is a bit rubbish this year? Last year you got £3 Digital Credit for each each 'No Rush' order and these were taken off a digital order in full. So if I had £9 credit accrued and bought a kindle book for £10 I would be charged £1.

This year 'Digital Credit' has been replaced with 'Pantry Credit'. With the 'Pantry' deal you can only use one £3 credit PER ORDER and you are still charged £2.99 delivery (for the first box). So you can have accrued £9 credit but will only be able to use £3 of that!

Bit rubbish...IMO. I'm reverting to ordering everything with next day delivery. I'm never going to use the £30 I have accrued this year by Feb (when they expire).

I think everything in "no rush" this year, something I ordered "Fulfilled by Amazon" and "In Stock" a week ago has only just been shipped.

Not too happy as I was hoping to fit it this weekend.

Think they've changed it so that you can use all pantry credits on a single order. They took £6 credit off my order 1-2 months ago.

I've used all my pantry credits together before with no problem ( last year I got about £40 worth) I didn't get any this year it was the normal £1 digital credit for me Witch I'm really sad about so didn't end up buying anything.

Nope not working now. I have about £30 worth of credits confirmed. I just put about £20 of stuff in my basket and it only took off £3.

Use your credits with the free delivery items. (There's not much choice at the moment) but then you'll be getting free stuff :-)

Wow. Some people.

Amazon don't have to do this you know.

Just my opinion. For me it's a bit rubbish compared to last year. Was just wondering what others thought.

And no Amazon don't have to do this. It is a wonderful company which does things out of the goodness of its heart.

I cancelled an order earlier this week as it had not been despatched after a week (of being in the same state as your order) even though via Amazon Prime it was supposed to be a next day delivery.

I re-ordered the same item (still "in stock") & it was delivered the next day!

That said, sometimes I use the "No Rush" delivery option & I have no intention of using the credit.

It's how I (bog) roll.

No rush normally mean one extra day so no real hardship. Its not as good that you cant combine but with "buy 4 items for free delivery" on stuff i would buy anyway. i would happily create dozens of orders.

Problem I find using the no rush delivery is I can't guarantee someone is going to be home when it comes. That's why I always use prime to select a time. There are no guarantees it will come at said time though at this busy time of year but they always add a months free prime onto my sub so it's not all bad.

People on this website would chop of their right arm to get a free bog roll. I was hoping to get 6 bottles of wine with my £30 credit. Would have been nice....oh well.
