Great troll, OP.

None of us can be 100% sure as to whether you're illiterate and it was a happy coincidence, or if it was intentional.
Well done. Maybe.

Bahhhhhh bahhhhhh
so some fool lies about who he is and thinks he knows the law better than the police, while I dont like the idea of a licence fee this guy got caught for trying his luck and the bailiff had every right to enforce the warrant.

Hold on this guy, didn't bother to turn up tot the hearing so it doesn't …Hold on this guy, didn't bother to turn up tot the hearing so it doesn't need to be signed as it would of be executed without a hearing, guy should of gone to court and it would of been a smaller fine or could of even defended his case.. don't cry later.regardless of if he watched TV or not, he let it get this far.. no sympathy from me.. but that female copper was lovely, fair play she tried to sort it out nicey.

A very, very silly piece of advice that places the recipient on the wrong side of the law if followed.
Just pay it simple
That the BBC license fee should be optional is beyond dispute now that they have given up any hint of impartiality, either political or more generally. But supporting this somewhat self important, time wasting, nincompoop (and his supporters) is not the solution. Selective adherence to your pick of the legal obligations is a problematic direction of travel.

Social media has a lot to answer for and it isn't even in it's teens yet!

Why ? if you dont want to pay it as some people apparently dont then my advice is a fool proof way of never getting caught or having to pay it and that's a fact.
Where's the video op?
And the police say they are too busy to bother with investigating burglaries assaults fraud etc and yet they can back up the Bbc goons no problem.

Depends if you're dealing with Captia/TVL or the police.

Video is from 2015. This comment from 1 year ago is from the gentleman recording the video :

OK guys. this is why I made the video and appear to be the idiot. before this Marston bailiff came I had made 3 large payouts to bailiffs for other matters because I tend to bury my head in the sand. when the other bailiffs came I was prepared and they we actually nice guys. after they wiped me out this guy turned up with a massive attitude and put his foot in the door and after I said move ur foot he called the police and told them I was aggressive. if you know me then u know I don't get aggressive. anyway the police arrived and less than 2 minutes. 2 cop cars unbelievable since it takes a day or to to get then after a robbery. by this time I was broke and my wife was having complications with the pregnancy that's why I was using every excuse known to man. they eventually got in so I cut the video wish I didn't. wysiwyg wife had a panic attack and gave birth prematurely a couple days later and my boy was in intensive care so my appologise for not giving a **** to all the hateful comments. because I'm well liked my friends loaned me the money to pay them. we received an apology from marstons but I don't feel it was enough. luckily this video has gone viral and the revenue has payed my friends back so I thank you all for watching. my boy is lively and loving Christmas

They were already well beyond that point in the video. If they weren't, it's very unlikely the police would get involved, but it's naive to think they couldn't or wouldn't.

Yes i know the bloke is idiot but my point stands in my first post, nothing nobody can do if you never have any contact with them it's not rocket science.

If you don't have any contact then often they send the Capita employees. They have reportedly lied on the paperwork, even if you don't let them in to 'check'. Ticking a box saying they have seen live broadcast content through your window is often the case.

So you do nothing.... It goes to Magistrates on the belief that you're watching TV without a licence and Capita have the report claiming they have evidence you are. Court issues warrant, warrant becomes obstructed and the Police are called in. Now, even if you had the time or the inclination (you don't, you would rather do nothing) then telling the Police that it's 'not signed' it's 'unenforceable' etc etc is likely to fall on deaf ears and they will allow the warrant to proceed, how many genuine cases of a finding against the Police actions in these instances have we seen? It speaks for itself that they will not be put off and go by the warrant.

This is all before bailiffs and high court enforcement officers become involved too for the fees and inevitable recovery should they not be paid. Telling the enforcement officers the property is not yours or you are not the person on the paperwork will likely also do nothing.

I was of firm belief in doing nothing a few years ago - Now I just notify the muppets every time - I genuinely don't need one, I don't agree with the system, it is however a system they know very, very well and employ hundreds working out the best way to proceed daily. I realised that ignoring them will not work sadly.

Never seen this happen in 30 yrs so what i was saying does not include this action even if they did send capita and they lie they would still have to prove it in court and they cannot prove nothing, you could be watching youtube or a dvd or any internet stuff on the tv what judge is going to convict you on somebody saying they was looking through your window and you was watching live tv it cannot be proved beyond reasonable doubt.
Haha ive never paid a licence in my entire life and never will - i am not subsidising the ridiculous pay of people like Jimmy Saville and all the incompetent managers - I used to work for the beeb and the amount of porn on managers machines was legendary in the IT dept - even the main internet kiosk pc had literally hundreds of pirated movies and illegal stuff you wouldnt believe what goes on in the Beeb! One of the managers was caught banging his assistant in a broom cupboard by one of the cleaners!

You need to have a read around the forums, even the most experienced evaders admit that the goons often lie to get a warrant. Evidence is out there of them doing this.

I was under the impression that you're arguing about ignorance being fool proof, not the evidence aspect for conviction. Evidence wise for a warrant, a reasonable belief that you're watching live broadcast/iPlayer in the form of a goon ticking a box stating they have seen it/heard it through a window is more than enough (Most are granted in this way). When it comes to conviction and the evidence required, that's a different matter, a warrant to search however, that's very easy for them to get, they obtain many warrants a year - search for the FOIA on these statistics and you'll see.

Many don't get a visit for 12, 15, 20 years. Some get a visit after 6 months of making the deceleration - then a warrant. I'm simply saying that ignoring them sadly does not work and is not to be relied upon.
