    Nokia N79 on contract

I am looking to purchase this phone on a contract with at least 500 mins and 500 texts for a period no longer than 18 months (12 month is prefered0, but I can't seem to find it anywhere even though it can be purchased sim-free for £319 from Nokia's website now. I will give rep to anyone who finds a decent deal with this phone on the type of contract specified, thank you. Also I would prefer to get this from a trust-worthy site, thanks!!!

Not exactly a good deal but just about all there is at the moment as no one is stocking this phone.

    Vodafone Texter £40

    Possible £90 Quidco.

Whys this phone so hard to come by? It gets cracking reviews

I've just gone for T Mobiles Sim only Solo 20 which is £20 per month.

600 mins free, Unlimted Text and 1GB internet. 30 day rolling contract. I then plan to buy to either wait for this phone on contract or buy sim free from Play.com for £290 with Quidco. Unless of course, someone finds it cheaper, I did find it from Elitegadgets but I feel safer with Play.

It does, indeed, get cracking reviews! If you take this sim free contract and consider the same deal on a 18 month contract would cost you at least £35-£40, you end up paying £630+ min. The flexibility and benefits of going sim only and buying the phone, is much better in my opinion, Sim Only deals getting better all the time and is only 30 day contract!

*Edit - just noticed you get a free 8gb card with elitegadget....ummmm

Been thinking about doing exactly the same mate. Although gonna hang off until the newly announced Sony Ericsson C901 comes out to see how they reviews are first because it has a Xenon Flash which unfortunatly the N79 doesnt.

I'm gonna go for O2 Simplicity purely because you dont get charged for picture messaging, it comes off your bundle. I'm paying £35 per moth for 400M and 500txt yet with simplicity i can get 100 more mins and texts for £20 less per month, its insane!

Just wanted to thank you for the heads up on 02 simplicity. The ability to send picture messages with the bundle is great and I've cancelled my TMobile sim and just signed up for 02.

I'm sticking with the N79, I've had nightmares with my last Sony phone, 4 faulty ones in a row!

Just need a good deal on the N79 now.

Mobilephonesdirect.co.uk, N79/4GB card, Vodafone 18 month contract, £35/month, 600 mins & unlimited texts plus £50 auto cashback after 28 days.

not bad for those needing a contract, i'm after sim free now.

looks like they are slowly hitting the market.

    £283.86 incl del here elitegadgets.com/GB/…ase.

This is with an 8GB card instead of the standard 4GB too.
