sorted byNorwich shops and pavement and subways have a for ever increasing number of sleeping bags outside ; one man and his dog, woman and beggers and druggies sleeping rough.
A friend of mine is helping an EU Citizen try and claim Universal credit in London and he is getting refused delayed and knocked back every step if the way by the DWP
The CAB gave him a list of churches that offer free breakfast lunches and evening meals. So it is possible for the homeless to go for a meal every day, albeit at different churches.
This is a terrible indictment of our society today, that we are supposed to be one of the richest Countries in the world, and spend millions to get to Birmingham half an hour faster, yet the Government can't house the homeless and they have to rely on chariety handouts by Churches to have food to eat.
All foreign aid should be stopped until we sort out this Countries problems and OP would not have to post such messages, good as it is.
We have a bad issue in our local city too, shop doorways in the mornings littered with needles and human faeces, the poor shop keepers have to go to work and get changed after cleaning up and bleaching everywhere. I don't remember it being so anti social when I was younger, I tend to avoid the city now as it is a bad shopping experience with the stench and drug issues. And they wonder why we shop online.
I note other people have confirmed it is St Andrews Hall ; where they held pop concerts and craft markets. A solicitor moaned about the noise and they used to have a Man sitting there with a limiter/noise monitor!
