numpty question

    renting a flat.
im leaving my job as ive been offered a new one, and my current job has a flat included so ive never had to rent before.
i dont want to go down the fully furnished route as i already have stuff from my current flat.
if i go for an unfurnished place would a cooker, fridge / freezer, washing maching, carpets etc be included or would i need to buy them.

I would say that it depends on what rent they are charging as to what they include. Carpets/wooden flooring may be included but the white goods may not. You need to check with the landlord as to what he/she is willing to include.

If you need to buy, you could look at your local freecycle group to see if anyone is getting rid of stuff. It's free and all you have to do is collect it but white goods are wanted by so many people so it can be hard to get them quickly.

Carpets would be included and maybe some white goods + cooker Some flats are advertised as "part furnised" also

best check with landlord or the estate agents that your looking to go with.x

best to check with the landlord, when you go to veiw the property ask if anything will be left in for you to use.
when my mate rented a house it had the loft done out and had furniture in that room that couldnt be used, also shes not allowed to decorate!
unfurnished norm means carpet/wood floors maybe curtains/blinds
partly norm as above with few extras cooker/table
    good luck
