O2 Home Broadband and Line Rental for only £7.50 per month

Just a heads up to fellow HUKD'ers really.

Just over a year ago I switched from BT Broadband (£13.99 per month) to O2 Broadband for £7.50 per month.
It was 5 times faster than BT's and I got £100 quidco cashback too.

I recently came out of contract with O2 and rang them to say that BT were ringing me trying to get my business and offering great deals.
The guy in the O2 retentions dep't couldn't improve on my £7.50 per month deal but said that if I took my 'phone line to O2 he would give me 12 months free (normally £7.50 per month)

I agreed and that's how I have the £7.50 per month deal for line rental and broadband.

One other thing, the free McAfee software can be used on multiple computers and not just 1 as stated. If you have any problems with this ring O2 broadband CSD and they'll take you through it.

    Happy Easter

Edit; I have an O2 mobile phone too and get a £5 discount for this, so non O2 moby people can expect £12.50 per month I guess.

I had 1/2 a meg with BT too

    Now 2.5 meg with O2

We live several miles from the exchange and it's the fastest we can get down copper wire apparently.

Waiting for the 'BT infinity' hardware to be installed and hoping that O2 will be able to use that too.
