    O2 home phone & broadband

    Hi,
    I'm moving home soon, was wondering if i need a BT line before i can get O2 home phone & broadband, I'm trying to get info off the O2 website but im confused, help please......

    If you want a home phone with home broadband, then .. Yes you do need a BT line
    O2 don't supply the lines (yet anyway) so you'll have to get one installed by BT

    BT will normally tie you into a 12 month contract aswell, so you'll have to move over to O2 phoneline in a year. BB is no problem though.

    the place i'm moving to has had a previous BT line so i wont have to pay for installation right?

    was gonna get o2 home phone as its cheaper than BT but i dont mind getting the BT line as long as i dont have to pay for installation

    You don't have to pay for installation most of the time if the line is there - sometimes they charge an activation fee if the line has been down for a while.

    ok thanks, guess i'll just have to wait till i move then get my BT line connected :thumbsup:
