    o2 iphone 3GS unlimited data.

    Did anyone here sign up when the 3GS came out!? i was under the impression i had unlimited data for the length of my contract.Just received this though!

    O2: Your unlimited data promotion ends on the date of your next bill. Which is when your new 500MB a month data allowance starts. Last month you used less than 75% of that. For more info visit go.o2url.com/data

    people who can't afford to be on o2 usually say that

    if you've used less than 75% of 500mb does it really matter? the only way you'll know for sure is by contacting them as no one here has access to your contract details

    Of course it matters. If its not in my contract that they are going to take me down to 500mb ill be cancelling it.

    No-one on here needs access to my contract details. All o2 Iphone 3GS contracts came with the unlimited internet. My contract no doubt stated that unlimited was only free for a certain amount of time. I just just checking for confirmation of that on here

    I thought they were only dropping the allowance once your initial contract has passed i.e. 18 or 24 months and then they would drop the allowance down to 500mb per month as in line with the new iphone contracts.

    I am also on o2 but not had any emails yet to say about my allowance being changed and my contract is due to reach the 18 month mark in December.

    I remember reading a magazine about the tariff changes relating to o2 stopping unlimited data and the person who done the article said that most users wont even reach the 500mb limit unless you do loads of streaming of stuff to your phone.

    i got the same text from o2 if you changed your tarriff after mid june your data allowance drops i changed tarriff but the bloke i was emailing from 02 said i would not loose my unlimited data till the end of my contract anyways yesterday i got the same text as you !! so i emailed them saying i was toldi would keep my unlimited data i got a email back saying the member of staff shud not have said that !! so i emailed back angrily and got this return
