o2 mobile broadband... will now only find wireless networks? help!

I set this up yesterday and it working fine (albeit a little slow when on 'Green') but today it won't access the mobile broadband network and is insistent in trying to connect to someone else's wireless network, it's even asking for the Password & Userid for the wireless network.

How can I get it back to mobile broadband? I've tried the 02 broadband help on the o2 website but it won't let me view the help pages!

You can drop down the icon that shows all networks and tell it to connect to o2-uk,
Turn the wireless off on the laptop so it can't see wireless.
Is it finding free web access like openzone/cloud cause it will see these as a faster link than mobile.

I find that on green it very slow, blue odd times i get it is better, I've had the purple once and it flys down.

My t-mobile dongle payasugo is faster everytime anytime. My O2 is contract.

O2 had major problems yesterday and it's 3G service was down according to my local store. It may be that there's nothing wrong with your setup at all and there's just no signal in your area currently.
