    O2 Sent Replacement without receiving my Faulty Handset!!

    Hi

    Need some help what to do will appreciate some advice

    I called O2 few weeks ago regarding my faulty handset and they sent me email giving me information on where and how to send the handset back. The day i was going to send the handset back i received the Replacement handset. so i cancelled the special delivery and did not send the faulty handset.

    Do you think O2 will come back and charge me for not sending the handset back. Please has anyone been in same situation???????????????

    on there system it will come up as they haven't received the phone. Plus your conning them in a way.

    lol thats weird. when i sent in my n95 it took them 2 weeks until they said they recieved it then they sent me the phone. just wait until they say something

    The honest and only approach I can recommend is that you return it (Not saying I would, but still).

    Have no intention of conning them at all but now i do not know what to do as its been 3 weeks and they have not come back to me so asked for the advice.

    Asked for this to be moved out of FS/FT

    Canceling the special delivery is surely asking for trouble, they sent you a replacement so just send
    in the faulty phone & you have nothing to worry about.

    o2 will only send you an refurb once they reicve yours. So they have made an mistake, is it your fault? They wont come back at you as the repairs department is to busy to go chasing ppl, just count yourself lucky this time

    My gran used to work for o2, and she had loads of these. but the funny thing is, they can see where you are. my gran once had a person that said that he sent it and it must have got lost, and i dont have a mobile phone. but she pulled it up in the system where he was, where the last phone call he took place was, and he just hung up! lol

    So are you suggesting i should keep hold of the handset until they come back to me.

    but ur phone is faulty? how much use is it? and if you do repair it what if they want it back in the end.... bad karma if you asked me?

    Post it back. It's faulty & O2 have been decent enough to send you a new handset

    Send the old one back - it's an advance replacement. They'll just charge you for the one they sent you otherwise. You could argue it under the Unsolicited Goods Act, but you may come unstuck since you reported a faulty one to begin with.

    Orange somtimes do this, but we track customers down and they must reuturn it within 30 days or a fine will be applied to there account, not saying O2 will.

    phone them up and expalin you have recived a phone and have sent your fualty one to them but not recived it yet can they check it up and ask them what to do in the mean time, are you sure its now a loan phone?\

    as tmobile gave out loan phones for your one being in repair

    I have found O2 to be an excellent service company. Send it back and show that you are as honourable as them and perhaps they will continue to offer a great service. :-D
