    I'm sure it's just a fad. x

No never had that one, does she play with girls toys and like pink girly things? Prob a fad, maybe she thinks she is missing out on something, is there any kind of hobby that your son does that she wants to do, or something he has that she thinks that you need to be a boy in order to have it . it might be something as simple as that, chin up

No, she's very girly...always loved pink etc (will find a pic in a sec) but last few weeks she's been going on about it. My son plays footy but she never reall seems that interested in that.
She asked me to buy her some boys clothes the other day, but not for school...wants to wear girly ones for school.

it is quite normal, i shouldnt worry yourself about it, my son went on about being a girl for about a year, but it passed. I think its more in children that have an opposite sex sibling

i don't think you're allowed to put pics of kids up in here any more.

It's most likely a form of hero worship wanting to be like her brother or a hint of jealousy of him that makes her think being a boy will make a difference.

Kids are always random and come out with odd stuff but generally forget about it.

that's the ticket. I'd bet it was because it's his birthday.

Perhaps take her out girly shopping one on one time.

and get your partner to take you son out one on one time?

i'm not a parent so that might be bad advice/cause the two kids to fight!

It's to be more like their older sibling - role model, idol, the person they look up to. Think that sums it up really for the OP

im sure its just one of those things, ie maybe she likes some of the clothes he has or the toys or boys things he does and she's thinking yea ill have some of that, my son often wears his mum's heels and the only thing we worry about is just how good he can walk in them lol may i add i tried to get into an all girls school but that was nothing to do with wanting to be a girl do LOL

My sister insisted she was a boy from a very young age, she came out as a lesbian in her late teens and had a sex change at the age of 35. I love my brother.

What's the difference? Male > Female, Female > Male. And I think I'd prefer a Daughter changing to a Son rather than the other.

I'd just go along with it, soon will get bored of it and go back to her old ways I suppose.

Because if he is tucking it under I'd be looking out for him digging a dungeon in the basement and buying lotion by the crate.

Personally couldn't care less either way as I expect in fifty years people will probably be popping along to get genetically gender reassigned like they get laser eye surgery now.
