Old el paso tortillas....smell rotten?

We buy and eat ole el paso tortillas quite frequently, but yesterday my son refused to eat as said they were smelly.
When i picked one up, i could smell a nasty rotting smell so i opened a new packet and they were exactly the same.
I couldnt see any mold on them and they dated feb-21.
Anyone else come across this?
