PRODUCT: 5000
PERIOD: Once
DETAILS:
Hey - have come across a website after seeing it on an art history forum I frequent. I've tried (and failed) to get that far in answering the questions, but thought it'd be of interest...

The questions are:

1. What is the scene being depicted? (The Scene)

2. Who are the figures? (The Figures)

3. Who painted the painting? (The Painter)

4. Where has the painting been since the early 16th century? (Provenance)

You need to go to the website to view the painting though and get an understanding of it

in the image are in my opinion - Sir Thomas More and Thomas Cromwell, Earl of Essex

Looks like the prize is still up for grabs. Definitely not Thomas More - I don't think this is a British scene personally.
