    OLED TV's

Sony have released their first OLED TV. Costs $2499 and is only 11".

Does seem rather interesting, it has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 1080p. I never knew you could get such small screens with so high a resolution.

Price is a bit steep, but I want one.

Yer the oled are supposed to be the next hdtv

But i dont see it taking off as im sure something better will come by the time they make something 30" for 1k

Cold. You can get the same specs for a fifth the price by just buying a 37" 1080p telly, and sitting further away from it.

yeah, and i read on a hd tracker forum that apparently OLED TV's would have a lifespan of about 1,000 hours, but maybe they've extended that...
