A little more information is required. Care to elaborate on the point?

A mystery woman gatecrashed India's athletes' parade at the Olympic opening ceremony, and furious Indian officials are demanding answers from organisers about the apparent lack of security.

A woman in red and blue walked close to flag-bearing wrestler Sushil Kumar on Friday, in complete contrast to female members of the contingent who were wearing yellow saris and blue blazers.

"How did they allow her in? It was a security lapse. Nobody knows who she was. She looks like an Indian," Indian Olympic Association vice president Tarlochan Singh said.

"She walked along in the front line. Her dress was totally different. She was not wearing an identity card. This should have been noticed at an earlier stage but nobody bothered."

    its a ghost...... Lol

Minus the turquoise trousers, red jacket and big hips i'd say shes quite attractive.

Lot of the stories have the same info but it seems she may have been someone either involved in the opening ceremony or was helping getting the various teams ready to march out and just kept going alongside the Indian team. X)

Its ok...dont panic...its Deanna from Big Brother. She heard about the potential tv audience and camera time and sloped out of the BB house to get the spotlight! (_;)

Are you sure it will be a gold medal?

Why is it in this country that, whenever there's something life-changingly great going on, there's always a collection of miserable little grinches deriding the whole thing for trivial little reasons that no-one really cares about? The olympics are magic, simple as.

By reminding us that this country is Great and that it has done amazing things and can still do them. I don't know what has happened to you in your life to make you immune to such things, but I actually do pity you. I always thought I was a cynical **** but the combination of my joy at seeing this ceremony and the reactions of people like you really has changed my perception of who I actually am. I reclaimed that sense of wonder that I thought had been eroded and I've seen others who expected us to fail be mightily surprised and inspired.

I'm sure you're reading this with a look of derision as you attempt to conjure a witty comeback.....I must confess that even my newfound capacity for expecting the unexpected doesn't quite allow me to expect anything insightful or humourous to emerge from your sheltered mind.

    a) Absolutely true - this is one of them.

    b) Yes it is. You've just not seen enough of the world to understand that. Again, sheltered.

    c) I don't just pity you. I acknowledge how privileged I am to have been raised with experiences that allow me to appreciate that this country and it's people are capable of doing amazing things. We punch above out weight, despite having to carry people like you along for the ride. You may well be allowed an opinion, but why now try conjuring a worthwhile one once in a while.

You wouldn't see the greatness as you are one of the symptoms of the moral decay that is gnawing at the heart of this country

It won't affect yours, because you will sit in your bedroom at home, obsessively moaning about to anyone within your scope to address.

How will it affect mine? I've been out to three olympic events since it started, experiencing several interesting and new things. I'm excited about the whole event, and me and my friends are getting a lot of fun out of it. We're just spectators. Everyone actually involved is going to be exposed to a wealth of new opportunities and new experiences. Tonnes of kids, and adults, from the UK and across the world will be inspired by this. The olympics are a celebration of human accomplishment.

Give it a rest eh. I'm glad you and your friends are having fun, truely. … Give it a rest eh. I'm glad you and your friends are having fun, truely. It's not about money at all is it?

I couldn't care less about the finances involved. Literally couldn't care less. In-depth cost mapping and analysis is something I do as part of my job, and although I find the subject deeply fascinating, with the olympics, the money paths are so complex that I'm happy to simply trust in the judgements of the other versions of me that work in the government's financial analyst departments, and enjoy the ride for what it is.

You can't spend your life worrying about how your taxes are being spent. Earn enough to be comfortable, vote for parties that promise to address the issues on your behalf, and enjoy what you've got.

I'm guessing you got that figure straight out of the Daily Wail, as it's a bit high.
Not with standing that, approx how much income has the £9Bn expense brought into the UK to date, and guesstimated in the future ? In your answer, include all revenue streams.
