    OMG what are tescos playing at?

    I placed an order for £7.53 odd using the various vouchers for £5 off and free delivery, and 500 extra points.

    Waited in all day saturday, didnt arrive, so i emailed them at 8pm saturday day evening.

    Ive just recieved a reply saying theyve checked my records, and ive never placed an order :shock:

    Sure enough, ive been to check my bank online, and theyve took the money off me aswell, my online account is showing the 500 extra points aswell.
    Also got a conformation email.

    Its showing in my tesco direct history aswell, and the status is stuck on "despatched for delivery on Saturday 26th may"

    :shock:

    Ive just emailed them back saying all the above, but what should i do now?

    There's not much you can do until you get a reply. They should be able to advise on what has happened based on what you have said above.

    Try calling customers services on 0800 505555.

    we did an order on Saturday- order tracking says despatched for delivery Sunday - they don't even deliver on a Sunday!

    I ordered 11.50am, conformation email arrived at 11.54 am

    Im just worried due to them emailing saying theres no order from me :geek:

    Except for the driver with her goods and a reciept for £2.53 :whistling: Maybe he felt as it was only a small amount of money and a Bank Holiday weekend it could wait until next week. If the goods had been urgent and wanted asap I would have paid for an express - timed delivery and when they failed to deliver, cancel the order.

    It would have been quicker to go to a Tesco Extra store and buy it, then you would have had it and used it, whatever it was, but then you would not have got your free delivery and 500 extra points :giggle:

    Ah well you get nothing for nothing :w00t:

    Ive just rang tescos on the freephone number provided - cant ring that number as its only customer services, and NOT tesco direct - so was pissed off that i had to ring them back on an 0845 number.

    Anyway, i was told my goods have been delivered onto a van today and will be with me later on.
    I had a small moan at the man about waiting in all day saturday and it not arriving, and the email i recieved telling me that there was never an order placed, he apologised and said the person who sent it must have been "grossly incompitent"

    Its not on, and ive come off the phone in a foul mood, it its not here later on, im going to do my nut!

    Well Joshy, my order has just arrived! I'm sure yours won't be long!

    Its just arrived, and there isnt 2 of everything in it thankfully.
    All looks nice, i just wish i hadnt wasted my phone bill this morning ringing them to find out where it is.

    I would write an letter of complaint to be honest about your earlier email, Tesco's have messed you about and should at very least recompense the delivery and phone call costs. (Although in this case that isn't really very much :))

    Yeah demand they refund your delivery cost of err zilch.:giggle:

    Tesco's are rubbish hun, I'm biased though, I'm still probably banned from tesco peterborough

    I have just searched SAYNOTO0870.com again and the trick is to call 0800 505555, take option 5 and ask to be put through to Tesco Direct.
    Something to try next time, that is if you ever intend to shop there again.:roll:
