No, I’m planning to start a new thread on here titled “On HUKD what does “Did you call them to determine this?” mean?”. (edited)

I’d imagine that when it says “Currently unavailable” it means that the restaurant is currently unavailable to order from. Why not find their number and give them a call, if nobody answers the phone then you can assume that they are closed.

They might not want to pay the commission to uber

It is funny you should ask that question. A local pub of ours has just launched on justeat this weekend. When we went to order today it said unavailable.

We contacted them on facebook asking why & the reason given is when they have reached the maximum orders they can cope with each hour then they suspend the service rather than set themselves up to fail. So they switch the service off for 20 minutes & restart it again.

No one would be happy with late food or food not turning up at all. (edited)

It can mean they're closed, not taking orders for the time being or they're not delivering to your area at the moment (boundaries change on a daily basis).
