If you fancy winning a Garmin Dakota 20 with GPS Navigator software GB Discoverer, simply enter this competition courtesy of Garmin by answering question

The geniuses at Garmin have tackled this problem, taking GPS Navigation systems to another level. Garmins smart GPS navigation has joined forces with Ordnance Survey mapping to create sophisticated software Garmin GB Discoverer- an innovative range of topographic maps for the Garmin Dakota 20.

These revolutionary new maps bring outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to view a wider variety of highly detailed mapping.

Uniquely, the mapping is fully searchable, letting the user plan and follow routes to their choice of facilities and attractions including cafes, hotels, campsites, information areas and train stations. Perfect for any outdoor trip, including skiers in search of new pistes at resorts.

thanks bw

I have no problem with the competition and heat for finding it BUT for anyone thinking that this brings Garmin up to par with Ordnance Survey, think again! Garmin topographic are almost totally devoid of anything you might buy a Landranger series for e.g. paths, cliffs, landmarks, etc (I have a Garmin CSx70 and their ocean mapping is superb but when it comes to hillwalking, etc, forget it other than a grid ref!)

Entered, thanks!!! :-D :-D

Thanks again BW
