so, when you say state you mean taxpayer which means you, which means you'll he paying to pump the water to homes after the cleaning process?

The rest of the world sees the BBC programs for free.

Quality education.

Dentistry for all including braces and polishing etc. Veeners and dental implants only included to help with eating issues etc. For vanity should be charged.

It should be provided at a fair rate and the water companies should be non profit imo.

The BBC, not that I have ever funded them anyway.

currently you pay a private company for this utility not the state, I … currently you pay a private company for this utility not the state, I mean it should be covered out of existing revenues not an additional charge, free to homes & small businesses but heavy user industries can pay via a meter, when I'm in charge everything is going to be great X)

same with gas and electric, shouldn't be free but not ran for massive profit, yes it was a mess before privatisation but just as much a bigger mess now and with the new China/ France nuclear plant funded by increased bills who are the real winners. Maybe we should ask Sid

I would offer people veneers & stuff if they wanted a nice smile, otherwise it might affect their confidence/mental health, the actual cost of these is very small in the grand scheme of things

They supposedly do random checks. Also where I used to live, chemists started asking for proof though I think that was probably illegal to do so.

Some places in America outlawed collecting rain water didn't they?

And everything should be free because money is stupid and we should find something better to motivate people over, money is a folly

God knows. Probably too expensive/time consuming compared to the cost of a prescription.

If you want it free , go to live in numerous African nations where our Foreign aid (from our taxes) pays for free drinking water .................. err maybe not its all spent on Palaces and arms for the current dictator

A long time ago before that Thatcher woman privatised water, gas, electricity and railways you got water included in your housing rates (equivalent to council tax)... Ah the good old days. We had gold top milk delivered by a milkman every morning. Oh and bagpuss on TV
