    Online Diet

I am thinking of starting a new diet - maybe following an online version of weight watchers/slimming world etc.

Anyone recommend any? Any deals out there? Any to avoid?

    HELP!

Also try wiifit if you have a wii. A calory controll diet might be an option.

springs to mind if you want to an online one,
Another one would be South Beach Diet but its more for Americans, but you can follow through their recipes.

I sort of diet from time to time, more like cutting all the junk out and that works, only thingI get stressed out about stuff and then I just give up.

this is another 1 I know of.

I'm sure there be other people who go to various slimming clubs and can advise if worth attending or not.

All diets are a complete waste of time; the dieting industry is a huge commercial operation that thrives solely due to its own ineffectiveness. If diets worked, there would be no dieting industry.

The only way to solve the problem is to change your eating habits. I'd suggest you get a copy of Paul Mckenna's "I can make you thin" and do exactly what its tells you to do

    use smaller dinner plates

dont buy slimmers biscuits - twice the price - dont eat whole packet

get out to a free yoga class - gym - ride a bike etc

I agree with what you're saying but that comes over quite condescendingly. Altering your diet to lose weight does work, obviously, you take in less calories than you use and the weight comes off. What most 'diet' plans don't do is change your attitude to how you eat meaning its very easy to slip back in to old habits.

Best advice, control your calories and increase the exercise you do and treat it as a permanent change, not a 6 week plan.

Self help books can provide motivation but again, they aren't an answer in themselves.

    good luck!

    oh right!
i never signed up for anything, just found a couple of sites that list what you can and can't have and went from there.
i don't think its a diet for everyone though, you have to find something that you can stick to
