Orange Broadband & Second Line

Can anyone help or is anyone experiencing the same problems?

I have not had access to my second phone line with orange for the last three months and they are now saying its a problem that they are aware of but can not fix !!

Also now I have no internet connection with them, I have called their help centre run diagnostics etc etc but they say they can find any fault, I am still a customer so my account is not suspended at all and am now at a loss as to what to, any help or if anyone is in the same position please message me although I am in McDonalds using Wi-Fi so can not access the internet often.

Call them back and tell them you want a new live box

Call them back and give them hell, you're paying for a service which includes a second line. You're not getting that service. Give them some stick for, in their words, "still charging the old rate of VAT" too.

My parents have had lots of problems on theirs and a few calls to Orange to complain and I've got about £100 off their bills in the last few months. Problems pretty much sorted but that's because of help from here, not Orange fixing it (although they should have done).

I do have another livebox but that doesn't seem to be the issue either, sorry should have mentioned that. I can get a connection to the internet but nothing comes up on the pages its a really stange one but I was hoping that others might have been experiencing the same problems, especially with the second line issue to. All Orange have said is that they will release me from my contract but by the end of the week I can enlist the help of CISAS which govern the internet providers etc. so will at them for some compensation etc then but would like to know the bigger picture ie if anyone else in same boat and also see if anyone managed to get it fixed at all.

Is it a problem with your pc? Do you have another pc you can try? Or a laptop?

I'm on orange for my sins!! never had that type of problem it often is very slow and times out before the page loads. when i have completley lost the internet i just demand a new box else im cancelling my DD they get one out quick enough!!

just a thought have you tried BT (or whoever supplies your line) to check its not a fault with them??

Thanks for all your replies, I have three laptops at home same problem with all of them and all work at other locations. My line is also with Orange on their home package so I am really stuck at the moment. I have also written to them many times but am really at the end with them. Will just have to wait until CISAS have done their stuff and then cancel agreement with them and go elsewhere. Shame as the deal was good when it works!!

Phone them up and go crazy! Worked for me!
