Orange Emails Not Sending

    I know not a deal , but know the HUKD family are knowledgable.

    I can receive Orange emails but not send any !!

    Anybody offer any solutions ??



    Have they expired you account, they did it to me when i gave up my dial up and deleted the email address i had with it, took me months to sort all my email stuff out, and they did not even give me notice!

    Is this via a mobile or Orange BB?

    If orange BB has it just recently happened?


    1.Open your Outlook Express and goto Tools,click and you will see Accounts.
    2.Click on Accounts, then mail ,this will show Internet settings.
    3.Click on your (it may show as pop.Orange/Freeserve)mail address ,then Properties,then click servers.
    4. You will see your Incoming and your Outgoing setting,This is where you change your settings to
    incoming :-
    outgoing :-

    If this is wrong please post back.

    If not your account has possibly expired. Many ISP's not block the outgoing SMTP server port due to spamming so you may have to contact orange and get a static IP address.

    I don't use orangehome. Just I have two Orange Mobile phones, so that usually keeps the email addresses active. No problem receiving just sending, which can be a problem in responding to emails. All advice welcome.
