    orange san fransisco battery

as quite a few people have this phone does anyone experience poor battery i mean VERY POOR?

few webpages and 1 call taken and my battery is at like 24% so in reality if i take more than a couple of calls the battery will die

i read thier are ways to improve battery anyone know how?

Go into the settings and then display, change brightness to one that suits you, not the constantly changing one, that'll help a bit.

Do you still have the Orange stuff on there, or have you made it a plain ZTE Blade with either 2.1 or 2.2?

    Try out this one :

    Battery Recalibration

1.Connect the phone to the charger with the phone powered on, and allow the phone to charge until the notification LED is green, indicating the device is fully charged.
2.Disconnect the phone from the charger, and power it off.
3.Reconnect the phone to the charger with the phone powered off, and allow the phone to charge until the notification LED is green.
4.Disconnect the phone from the charger and power it on.
5.Once the phone is powered completely on, power it off again and reconnect it to the charger until the notification LED is green.
6.Disconnect the phone, power it on in clockwork recovery, and wipe batt stats. You need to use this sequence only once.

i read its to do with the phone idle system or something or the constant searching for a signal

If it's searching for a 3G or wireless signal it'll drain the battery. You have turned them off, haven't you?

but then i cant use the 3g or wireless?

Install dazzle and switch them on/off as you need them.

Mines running fine. Lasts almost all day.

turn it on only when you need it...on 2.2 we have a perfect widget for this

I've got mine set up like this,

Get a App/Task killer, seems to do the trick
