    ostrich burger, whats it like?

    There is this stall in my town selling them, they smell nice and i was tempted to get 1. i just didnt want to have 1 bite and throw it away... anyone had one? do they taste similar to normal burgers?

    being a man of the world I can say they are really nice, underrated meat.

    ostrich is lovely - just like beef, but MUCH healthier. a really underrated meat that should be sold in more shops.

    U ever been to a Walkabout bar? They do Kangaroo and Springbok burgers.....Kangaroo is well nice...I'll always give things a go once.....twice actually for Scorpion....

    Found the Springbok a bit boring actually but me and my mates everytime we go to Stoke or Brum go for a Kangaroo burger first....well nice try it!

    Tastes a bit like Ostrich funnily enough

    We often have ostrich it is lovely, rather like steak but slightly "gamey" and much healthier, go on try it, you won't be dissapointed :thumbsup:

    I have had the Mealworm crisps....actually quite nice#
    and had the Scorpion in the vodka (twice!).....crunchy but not bad

    Osterich is really nice, used to know someone who had a farm with some on but they were a bit of a nightmare.

    ah a wise man, i bought some stuff from the french market they always have there and im pretty sure the "french people" had just been down to aldi and bought loads of ****, repackaged it and sold it for twice as much

    theres a butcher on mapperley top that sells ostrich, kangaroo and i think crocodile! Never tried it but next time the market is back on I might give it a go:thumbsup: The big wheel was fantastic and the views were amazing!

    I saw that stand in selfridges (right next to the butterfly jotters :thumbsup: sad I know...) and the prices were quite high, you can get some of the stuff from that bag o' **** shop online.

    i eat em now and again, they taste a lot like cat.
