Our cat's limping his leg - sign of flu?

Story so far...
Our cat's developed some kind of infection his left eye so we went to vets and got him some ointment. But now his right eye looks swollen up and both eyes are watery.

He's been in the house for the past 3 days (mostly sleeping) and not wanting to go out. Today he started limping his left leg and it seems to hurt him.

Someone told me its cat flu. Is it?

If it's anything like ours.
He's playing the simpathy card.
Give him a snugg

they are symptoms of cat fu - always happens on the holiday!!

just like humans - keep him warm - try and get cat to drink

i would wait till monday see how he is -

hope he/she gets well

Probably building up to trying to getting the day off school/work next week.....dont be fooled

I doubt that he has flu. If the watery eyes were symptoms the vet would have said, and I doubt that a limp is a symptom either. He is probably just feeling a bit sorry for himself for his sore eyes and sore leg which is why he isn't wanting to go out.

I'd take him back to the vet to check though. :-)

Just tried waking him up and doesn't want to know; just shivered and dosed off again. House is pretty warm but I'll put something on him (although he doesn't like that).
Still doesn't like when I touch his leg and growls at me
I'm more concerned about where he's doing his number 2's ?? Saying that, he hasn't eaten since morning :whistling:

Definitely take him to the vet when they are open again, our vet has an emergency phone number you could check if yours does and just speak to the vet if you are really worried? Poor little mite. Don't put anything on him though, he'll sort himself out if he is cold he'll move somewhere warmer.

Leave puss be if he's under the weather, let him kip and maybe see if he'll drink a little milk or something.

If no improvement then get in touch with the vet again but I'm sure he will be fine,he's feeling lousy and sorry for himself.

sounds like hes hurt his leg, or maybe his paws, have u looked at his pads to see if he has anything in them. could be a thorn, as for the eyes, sure the eye drops will clear it up soon
