Ok, not exactly a 'deal' but for anyone thinking of replacing their iPhone 6 battery, this could save you a bit of money

Addressing customer concerns

We’ve always wanted our customers to be able to use their

iPhones for as long as possible. We’re proud that Apple products are

known for their durability, and for holding their value longer than our

competitors’ devices.

To address our customers’ concerns, to recognise their loyalty

and to regain the trust of anyone who may have doubted Apple’s

intentions, we’ve decided to take the following steps:

  • Apple is reducing the price of an out-of-warranty iPhone

battery replacement by £54 — from £79 to £25 — for anyone with an

iPhone 6 or later whose battery needs to be replaced, available

worldwide until December 2018. Details will be provided soon on apple.com/uk.

Or to put it another way, Apple have admitted their products are not of Merchantable Quality, Fit for Purpose AND more importantly, not DURABLE.

Hopefully someone will start an action. Which? where are you?

Already posted

Apple users are soooooooooo sloooooooow (probably the reason they bought an I Phone !) . This has been posted several times .

If Apple are really concerned then thy should replace all batteries for free.

So.... they can now suddenly offer to replace batteries for £25 instead of £79.

Are they also going to refund the £54 difference to the users who were mad enough to pay Apple to replace their "out of warranty" batteries for them in the past at £79?

Anybody still in any doubt that Apple rip off their customers?

if your iphone spontaneously shuts down at above 20 perc charge, and the battery is still above 80% ofcharge capacity, then surely apple should be replacing it for free

And it's only until December, I suspect after that it'll inflate back to its usual ripoff price and they'll be hoping people have forgot just how much Apple have been screwing them!.
