Don't know if I'm being a noob here but I'm trying to download the overwatch free weekend and it's giving me the option of paying £29.99 or trying the free demo? Is the free demo the full game or what?

It's a free weekend.

It's basically the full game for the weekend, except you can't play competitive.

It says Nov 18th-21st and it's now the 19th? I'm confused

Are you trying to find it via the PSN website? I tried to do so but could only find the full game. Had a look online and found this article which seems like it needs to be done through the PS4 itself:

For PlayStation 4:
Step 1: Turn on your PlayStation 4 and log in to your preferred local user.
Step 2: Go to PlayStation Store and select "Search" from the top menu.
Step 3: In the search field, type in "Overwatch."
Step 4: Select "Overwatch Free Weekend" from the search results and then click "Download."

Checked on my PS4 and not seeing it either. Sounds like it should be a separate entry but even when you press down from the PSN store icon, there's a thumbnail advert for the free weekend but clicking it just takes you to the main Overwatch page where you can buy/demo the full game. Read a comment online saying it appeared for them under 'Free to play' section but not seeing it there either. Found this comment on a Reddit thread. Doesn't seem to have been there yesterday either.

Edit: Apparently it is actually the 'Try Free Demo' option, so give that a go and see if it works?
