Packard Bell iMedia 2315 - should I buy this PC?

I am considering buying the above PC from PCWorld (yes, I know, I know!) for £349, which includes a 19" Packard Bell TFT monitor.
Microsoft Office and Norton 360 add another £79.95.
All I need is a basic PC for general home use / internet access / email. Also for two children (6 and for their homework and projects and basic games.
To my limited knowledge, this PC appears to be suitable for our needs at a reasonable price.
The spec is on Packard Bell's website, here:
    packardbell.co.uk/pro…tml

If anyone has experience of this PC or can offer any advice before I go ahead with the purchase, I would be very grateful.
    Thanks for reading this.

The specs seem about right for the price.

But I would NEVER buy a Packard Bell PC.

This is PC World's own brand and not sold anywhere else (apart from other shops that are part of the PC World / Dixons / Currys group).

So you have no idea of the quality of the product, or how it compares on the open market with PCs from other companies like Dell, HP and so on.

I am sure you can find a similar spec PC for about the same price from another company elsewhere.

Very many thanks for your advice.

The problem is that I am searching around the internet, reading the specs for various PCs and getting more confused by the minute! :?

Anyway, in view of what you say I will kick Packard Bell into touch.
